Our new online giving option, via PayPal, means we can now set-up autopay. If you’re like me, it’s easy to forget to bring cash or a check to church to put in the offering plate. Plus, it’s not like there’s a card swipe on the side of the plate!

If this describes you, or if you’d prefer the convenience of setting-up autopay, instructions follow below. This is not only convenient for you, it helps the church because it makes our income stream more stable and consistent. On any given month, we take in an average of roughly $25,000, but that amount can range from $17,000 to $55,000. Regular, consistent giving, helps us as a church better plan for the future by providing a more consistent stream of income.

Instructions for setting-up Autopay

1. Either click here to visit our PayPal website or visit eastmanfirst.com, scroll down a bit, and on the right-hand side click the link under “Donate Online.”
2. Once on the PayPal site, enter the amount you wish to give on a monthly basis. Please note, this will not prevent you from giving at other times irregularly, it only means that your credit card will be charged monthly for the amount you specified.
3. Under the payment amount, click “Make this a monthly donation.”
4. Choose how you wish to give, with the blue button taking funds from your personal PayPal account and the white button charging your credit or debit card.
5. And you’re done!
