Before coming to church Sunday, take some time to go shop for some of the relief items listed below and/or to purchase the materials needed for a hygiene or cleaning kit. Bring those items with you to church and leave in the narthex up against the wall with the mirror.
The South Georgia Annual Conference is asking for individuals and churches to donate the following items to the disaster relief warehouse to aid in recovery efforts:
- Box fans
- 25 foot, heavy duty, extension cords
- 2 gallon garden sprayers
- flat billed shovels
- Rakes with 3 inch tines
- 2-wheeled wheel barrows
In addition, hygiene or cleaning kits are also desired. Click here for hygiene kit instructions and here for cleaning kit instructions.
Please drop off any kits or warehouse items on Sundays in the narthex (vestibule area where the mirror and table are located) or at the church office during business hours (8:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday). If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the church office at 478-374-4327.
Items must be received by Thursday, September 21. We will then transport all items collected to Wesley UMC in Macon, which is the conference collection point.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and care of the people of east Texas and Louisiana.
