A new lending library is set up and ready to go in the Social Hall. Over the years, Sunday School classes and small groups have ordered books and had extra copies. These have piled up in the church office. So, along with some extra books from my personal library, we have set up a lending library with these extra books. The idea is simple: take a book and leave a book. We hope to have a rotating collection for the benefit of all of us as we seek to learn more. There are also children’s books available.
If you do not have a book to leave, that’s okay! Just owe us one later on.
If you have books you’d like to simply donate without taking any, that’s okay, too!
If you’d like to make a donation for any of the books, this is certainly not required, but funds will go toward the purchase of more books for the library. Make your check to the church and leave it in the offering plate or bring it by the church office at your convenience.
May this be a wonderful new addition to our life together as a church!
