Join us at 6pm on March 6, 2019, for our Ash Wednesday service. This is a special time in the life of the church where we are reminded of our need for Christ and of our mortality as we prepare ourselves for Easter. Such preparation comes through the season of Lent, which opens with Ash Wednesday. During that season, we are reminded of the life of Christ, we’re called to be more disciplined in our relationship with him, and we mourn the tremendous loss of Christ through the cross. This service features a call to keep a Holy Lent, such that we might spend the following forty days in reverence.
Service begins at 6pm in the sanctuary. Immediately following the service, we will have our annual soup supper. The Social Hall will be open prior to the service to plug in crock pots and the like prior to our worship.
We’ll see you on Ash Wednesday.
